Finalist Israeli design competition

Micha de Haas is one of three finalists for the design competition of the Israeli Building Center. The submitted design was created in close collaboration with Mandel&Mandel architects from Tel Aviv.

The Israeli Building Center is a semi-commercial institution clients in particular, private information and guidance before and during the construction process. It was founded in 1969 and located near Tel Aviv, Israel.

The design for the Center uses an existing high, covered area of 65 to 40 meters. Central to the room is a private street with three houses in various stages of construction. This will give visitors insight into the activities, products and points per phase. On either side of the 'street' are exhibition spaces, offices, consulting rooms, conference rooms, classrooms and hospitality: all housed in recycled containers.

After an interview round in November, the final selection announced.
